Information for VCU lecturers

The Vienna Children’s University enables encounters between children and scientists. Scientists and lecturers from six Viennese universities and a university of applied sciences hold courses for children and show how exciting research can be.

The courses will take place between July the 7th and 18th, 2025:

  • KinderuniTechnik at the TU Wien: 07th to 10th of July 2025
  • KinderuniBoku at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna: 07th to 11th of July 2025
  • KinderuniFH Campus at the FH Campus Vienna: 10th to 11th of July 2025
  • KinderuniMedizin at the Medical University Vienna: 14th to 18th of July 2025
  • KinderuniWirtschaft at the WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business: 15th to 16th of July 2025
  • KinderuniVetmed at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna: 16th to 18th of July 2025

Possible course formats for your lecture

You can hold your course(s) as a workshop, seminar or lecture:

  • Workshop up to 25 children
    Age groups: 7-9 years, 10-12 years
    Duration: 1 hour or longer
  • Seminar up to 50 children
    Age groups: 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 7-12 years
    Duration: 1 hour or longer
  • Lecture more than 50 children
    Age group: 7-12 years
    Duration: 1 hour

Most courses take place at the main location of your university. This is where rooms are prepared for the Vienna Children’s University. Alternatively, you can also offer an excursion, for example to your institute or another exciting place of science.
