Age

You must be between 7 and 12 years old to study at the Vienna Children’s University.

When selecting your courses, you must also pay attention to the age restrictions of the individual courses. You can find them directly in the online program.

Participation in the Vienna Children’s University is free of charge. The Vienna Children’s University lives from the support of many partners. We are also very happy about donations.

You decide for yourself how long you want to stay at the Vienna Children’s University. Put together your own personal program and decide, how many courses you want to attend. If you only come to one course, your visit to the Vienna Children’s University will take about 1 to 2 hours. But you can also visit courses and the break program on several days and spend a lot of time at the Vienna Children’s University. Follow the booking rules when booking.

Graduation Day

The Graduation Ceremony is the ceremonial completion of a course of study. The Vienna Children’s University also holds a Graduation Ceremony in the Main Ceremonial Hall of the University of Vienna. There you solemnly vow that you will never stop asking questions and being curious. You receive your certificate, are awarded your title and can call yourself Mag. univ. iuv. for a summer. (Magister/Magistra universitatis iuvenum – Master of the Children’s University).

You have to register for the ceremony. You do not need to register to collect your certificate.
