On Saturday, 9 July, there was a big party! More than 3,000 visitors took part in the anniversary celebration program: University of Vienna Rector Heinz W. Engl gave a speech, the hip hop duo EsRap provided musical entertainment and there was a colourful family program with research stations, drumming, street art and graffiti workshops as well as exciting family lectures. On Monday, 11 July, the Vienna Children’s University was officially opened. Now the motto is for the 20th time for 2 weeks: We’re turning the university upside down!
